Products/Services: Manuel.Zed is the home business for the company Zoppini. We specialize in Italian charms and accessories. It is so great to be able to show off my family and friends, my travels, my favorites and so much more with my charms. They are a special thing that I can now pass on to my daughter that will show what I was and who I am.
Why you chose this business : Since I am currently living overseas in Italy,( husband is the US Air Force) I have seen these EXACT charm all over Italy. When I heard I could do it as a home business that was out of the United States, I just had to join. The charms are made in Florence, Italy and each is is hand crafted and made with 18 k gold. That means alot to my customers and me. It shows the company treat each charm as a individual.
Hardest part of business : The hardest part has been advertising! I don't
have the budget I wish I had so that I could do
a lot more both locally and online.
Best part of business: Being able to offer a great product at a great price. The company lets me do my own deals and specials. I am able to make each party, whether it is a home show, book party or even a online party, something special. Plus with moving every couple years, I am able to take my career with me and not worry about not having a job.
Are you successful by your standards? Yes, I am. I truely love what I do with Manuel.Zed. It is very easy to grow with company and they are very supportive.
Biggest support : Beside my family who has been very supportive since day one, I would have to say my team that I work with. The company is very helpful no matter how small the question is. They are always there for me.
Anything you would do different? Not a thing except that I wish I would have heard of them earlier.

Since leaving my full time job in February to pursue my writing, I have gotten a lot of comments about "not working'. Why does the phrase "working from home" translate to some people as "sitting around, watching cable"?
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup vegtable shortening
5 to 6 tablespoons water
fruit preserves - strawberry, orange, apricot, blueberry, etc.; your choice.
Preheat oven to 425
mix first four ingredients. spread flour on counter top and using a rolling pin, roll out dough. with a round cookie cutter (or edge of a cup), cut out dough. place circles on ungreased cookie sheet. fill each circle with 1 tsp of fruit preserve. place another circle on top and seal the edges with a fork. bake for 20 minutes or until edges are slightly browned.
COOL BEFORE EATING - CENTER IS VERY VERY HOT!!
optional: decorate with frosting and sprinkles, just like poptarts!
