Why you chose this business : I am such a creative person and just fell into web design when I decided to put up a babybook site for my son. When I realized I had a real talent for this, and that there is a valuable market, I decided to take the plunge and start my business. Country Doodle Doo! is a spin-off of AlluringDesign Web Studio. I felt that crafters and wahm's working with smaller budgets than actual businesses would benefit from having the same quality web design available to them at lower prices.
Hardest part of business : Building up a client base...this is definitely the hardest, getting those first clients when there is so much competition out there. However once you begin establishing a great client/provider relationship, word of mouth and client recomendations really begin rolling in.
Best part of business: Seeing my finished work on someone else's website is a huge accomplishment.
Are you successful by your standards? No, I am not up to my standards yet, but I have my goals set high. I have no doubt I will reach them soon! I do consider since I have only officially been in business since January of this year I have been very successful for a very new business.
Biggest support : God has always been there for me, and supported me when I felt like throwing in the towel. Also my mentor, she has really been a great source of inspiration.

More than once lately, I have been reminded that one of the uncertains in a home-based business is lean times. No money coming in, no prospect of money coming in, and no idea how one is going to pay for the ISP each month. Here are some tips to help you increase your customer base, and your pocketbook:
Your toddler is into everything, and the day feels longer than Rapunzel’s hair. How do you keep your little one occupied in a constructive and fun manner? Start a toddlers’ playgroup!
Every single night for the past ten months, my middle daughter Cristen has closed out her evening prayers with "And, thank you God for helping mommy get Grace out of her tummy." And, after spending a few days over the holiday with her cousin, she has added thanks for helping his mommy get him out of her tummy.
Ingredients:
Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
4.5 oz jar mushrooms
1/2 cup butter
2 Tablespoons Fresh chopped garlic
1 Tablespoon Basil
Preheat oven to 425
Arrange chicken in baking dish, add mushrooms, garlic, and basil. Cut butter in slices and arrange on top of chicken. Cook for 45 minutes, flip over chicken and cook for another 20 minutes or until chicken is completely cooked.
