Hope everyone has been enjoying the nice spring weather and had a wonderful Mother's Day. It's been busy around here, now that we are able to leave the house without spending 20 minutes bundling up. There's been a little more rain that I would care to have, but I'll take that over snow any day. :)

Products/Services: We help groups and organizations raise money through fundraising with candles, cookie dough, desserts and coffee.
We offer 3 different sizes of soy candles in 20 scents which they sell to their friends and family and the group makes 50% profit. The cookie dough, coffee and desserts are new this year and you can earn up to 55% profit on the cookies and up to 50% profit on the desserts and coffee.

Why you chose this business : I held this fundraiser with my Girl Scout troop last summer and I was so impressed with the candles and the company, that I decided to give it a try myself.
Hardest part of business : I currently work full time out of the home as well as run this business, so the hardest part is prioritizing what needs to be done for the business and contacting the appropriate organizations at the right time.
Best part of business: The best part is working with a great company, an extremely supportive Manager and of course, the commission I make!
Are you successful by your standards? Not yet, but I plan to be! I got started very slowly before Christmas, but have consistently been working the business since the first of the year. It has really started to build in the past two months and I'm very much looking forward to the potential this business provides.
Biggest support : My hubby. He's always been my rock. I've been involved with several businesses and he is always extremely supportive in everything I do.
Anything you would do different? I would have started sooner! Seriously, if I would have joined last summer when my Girl Scout troop had their sale, I would have been so much further ahead in contacting groups and organizations. But since I waited until after Christmas to really get going, a lot of groups already made their fundraising choices for the Spring. However, I've got their information for the fall or for next year!

Why talk with babies? They can`t talk with you! Some people think those ideas are true. Studies have show that the more we talk with babies, the better they will understand. Babies who hear lots of talk tend to use more words sooner. Children who can use a lot of words at age three, will be able to use even more words when they go to school. The whole idea is to talk, talk, talk with babies to set the stage for them to keep on talking as they grow up.
As the arrival of my first child imminently approaches, my husband and I are trying to turn our dinky second bedroom from office to baby's room. If anyone has an extra fairy godmother or a leprechaun lying around, please send them our way. Their assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Ingredients:
1 package Shell pasta
1 package Ranch dressing mix
1-1/2 cups Mayo
1 tomato
Cook pasta fully and drain. Add ranch dressing mix, mayo, and tomato. Perfect for cook outs!
