Rain, Rain, Go away, come again another day. Boy, thats a song that been sung around here for a while lately. I'm starting to think we moved to Florida and I wasn't informed! Business as usual around here and things haven't slowed down a bit :).
I've finally managed to set up my new affiliate plan for Wahm State Directory. With some extra special help from Carol at http://www.itsjust4u.com staying up late last night to make my buttons so that they're ready for this morning. See other announcements for more details. Just like Anita, I too am getting mighty sick of all the rain we have been having lately. No exciting thunderstorms to go with it even, outside of a few rumbles here and there.

Bulk salts ans mud make up a large part of my business as well.
Why you chose this business : I have been to the Dead Sea several times, and I beleive in its
curative powers. The concentration of minerals that
is found in the Dead Sea is not available anywhere else on earth.
I knew the product, I believed in it, and I wanted to share it with
others.
Hardest part of business : The hardest part has been setting up my own space.
Best part of business: The best part has been the response of the customers, their feedback
makes me believe in the product even more.
Are you successful by your standards? I am getting there. It takes time to get established.
Biggest support : My husband, Nick, has been my biggest supporter. He pushes me when
I think that I have done all that I can. I could not have done this without him.

"Hey Mom, I'm Bored!"... How may times have you heard that statement? Today it is very easy to just turn on the TV or pop in a X-Box game but why not teach your kids something fun in the kitchen? They will enjoy the time spent with you while learning a valuable skill.
How do you know you’ve had a bad week? Do you stumble over your feet more or forget things? A journalist asked me if Mommy Brain really exists. It is a phenomenon which occurs once you have children. Your mind never quite works right again. I had never thought of opening up my noggin to investigate the matter. But if I were to look inside my head, I might find the following things which I either perpetually forget or think I have lost forever:
2 cups red lentils
6 cups broth – vegetable, chicken….
Small onion - diced
3 cloves of garlic – minced
Olive Oil
Potatoes (can be regular or sweet) – diced
Frozen sweet white corn
Teaspoon cumin
Teaspoon tomato paste
Salt to taste
Make sure the lentils are free of any dirt. Wash them several times.
Sauté the onion in a little bit of olive oil, then add the garlic and stir a bit more. Add the lentils, the tomato paste and the liquid. Let it boil, then cover and simmer for 30 min, stirring frequently. Add the potatoes and the corn and let simmer until the lentils dissolve and the soup is thick and opaque. If you need more liquid, add some water.
PS: I always end up adding water toward the end. So you might want to consider adding a cup of water in the beginning.
This soup is best served with crunchy bread. You can also add any vegetable you like but the potatoes and the corn are essential for texture.
