Hello faithful readers and a great big welcome to all of our new subscribers! For just a little fun (and of course learning) we've decided to dedicate this issue to the new 'craze' of blogging. Oh so often I hear the famous questions of "But, really is it worth your time?" and "Do people really read these?" My answer to these questions is a resounding YES! Blogs can be a lot of fun and can also be a very important business tool for your home business. But I won't go into all the details here...you'll have to read the article. PLUS as an added bonus...you can also listen to myself, Alice Seba of InternetBasedMoms.com and Kelly McCausey of WahmTalkRadio.com discussing our blogs and how helpful they've been to us. New projects, old projects, and current projects - enough to keep us on our toes and busy busy every single day! If you haven't been following our Blog, we've both had quite the exciting week. Anita was featured on a WAHM radio show, and I posted the details on a new project I'm working on - and how it's going to make me money. Products/Services: Custom made personalized children's decorations. Wall decor, sports themed hat racks, girly-girl shelves, clothes stands and much more all personalized based on name and color scheme provided
Why you chose this business : After making many things for my own children, this escalated in doing it for friends & Family which launched the idea of making a business out of it. I love doing it and people love the products!
Hardest part of business : Getting the product out there for people to see. Still not certain of the best "venue" for it, so I seem to be jumping in head first trying it all to see what fits.
Best part of business: Creating something completely unique for someone. It's great to hear the basics (name & colors) and then create something especially for them!
Are you successful by your standards? Speaking from a business sense,I am not yet successful. Although its early, I want to propel this into a much bigger opportunity. From a differnt perspective, I feel I am a complete success as I look at my small children grow better every day and hope that I have something to do with that as I stay home with them.
Biggest support : Without a doubt, my husband is my power source. Working 60 hours +/week then coming home to help with my business venture and the kids. Cliche or not...I couldn't do it without him! Thanks Honey!
Anything you would do different? Nothing, I have learned from every step I've taken (right or wrong), and that is invaluable!

Blogs have been around for many years but have recently become somewhat a new ‘craze’. A Blog is short for Web Log is basically an online journal. They can be set up at little to no cost at all, and can be used for a wide variety of things. Some bloggers just blog for the fun of it, while others tend to use their blogs for business reasons.
I don't want to brag, but I've always thought of myself as, well, a fairly educated person. I know how to set a thermostat, program a VCR and work a computer by myself. I can, for the most part, balance a checkbook, pump my own gas and make a mean egg plant casserole.
But, no matter how hard I try, I can't figure out the local drug store's system for processing film.
1 pkg Smoked Sausage (I prefer the beef)
2 tbs butter
1 green pepper
1 red pepper
1 container fresh mushrooms
2 cups long grain rice.
1 bunch green onions
Cook rice as instructed
Cut your sausage into disks, ( I do mine very thin). Melt 2 tablespoons
of butter in a pot and add the smoked sausage and let it cook in the
butter. While the sausage is cooking, core your bell peppers and cut
them in thin slices, chop up your green onions and add the peppers,
onions and fresh mushrooms to the sausage. Let cook for 10 minutes. on
medium with a cover. You will notice it makes a sauce.
After it is finished cooking put over cooked rice. Serve with a salad
and dinner roll.
